Description: The first time I saw the angel, she was sitting at a red light in front of me. She was probably around eighteen or nineteen years old and had long blond hair, and her face was so small that it seemed almost as though it would get lost between the buttons of her tight-fitting t-shirt. Her eyes were like sapphires set deep into those delicate features; they captured my attention instantly. I watched her as she sat there, seemingly unaware of anyone around her, and then suddenly our eyes met. It felt like a revelation. For the first time in a long time I'd seen someone who looked like she belonged to a different world. She was an angel. And I knew it. When the light turned green she got into her car and started driving away; but before she could leave, I'd managed to get her number from the other girls in the line. We arranged to meet the following day at a nearby diner.
