How To Watch VR Videos
Choose your device below for a complete setup guide.
💡 Pro Tip for the Best Experience
To get the highest quality 4K/8K VR experience, we highly recommend downloading the original source videos directly from the official studio websites. Simply click these 2 buttons on any of our video pages: Watch Full VR or Download. Or you can directly access to the Official Site. Once you have your downloaded VR files, follow the device-specific guides below!
1 Transfer
Connect your Quest to your PC or Mac via a USB cable. Put on the headset and "Allow access to data". Open your computer's file explorer, find the Quest drive, and copy your VR video files into the Movies folder. (Alternatively, you can set up a local SMB/DLNA network share to stream without copying).
2 Play
Download and install Skybox VR Player or DeoVR from the Meta Store.
- Open the app and navigate to your files (or network share).
- Select your video to play.
- If the video looks distorted, manually adjust the format in the player's settings (typically 180° SBS or 360° SBS).
1 Transfer
Transfer your downloaded files from your Mac to your Vision Pro using AirDrop, or save them directly to iCloud Drive so they are accessible via the Files app on your headset.
2 Play
Native Apple apps often do not support standard VR180 formats. You need to install a third-party app like Moon VR Player or Skybox VR.
- Open the app and browse to your saved file.
- Make sure to adjust the projection settings (e.g. 180° Side-by-Side) to avoid the "balloon head" distortion effect.
1 Transfer
Simply download and save the VR video files anywhere on your computer's local hard drive.
2 Play
Make sure SteamVR is installed and running.
- Download a free VR media player like DeoVR Video Player or purchase Skybox VR from the Steam Store.
- Launch the player in your headset and browse your local hard drive to open the video file.
1 Transfer
- Format a USB flash drive to exFAT or FAT32 format.
- Create a folder named exactly Littlstar in the root directory of the USB drive.
- Rename your VR video file to include _180_sbs.mp4 at the end (e.g.
myvideo_180_sbs.mp4) so the app knows how to format it. - Copy the file into the Littlstar folder and plug the USB into your PlayStation console.
2 Play
Install the Rad. app (formerly Littlstar) from the PlayStation Store. Open it, navigate to Library > USB drive, and select your video to play.
1 Transfer
Download the video files directly to your phone's internal storage via your web browser, or transfer them from your computer using a USB cable (Android) or iTunes/Files app (iPhone).
2 Play
Install Mobile VR Station (available on iOS and Android) or DeoVR.
- Open the video file within the app.
- Select the appropriate VR Mode (180° SBS or 360° SBS).
- Place your phone into your VR headset (like Google Cardboard, Gear VR, or similar mobile viewers) to enjoy.
