I had no idea what was going on when I walked into the staff lounge that day. I just thought it was another typical shift at the hospital. I watched as she poured the steaming liquid into a paper cup and handed it to me, saying 'Here you go'. I took it, but couldn't help but stare at her in amazement. She seemed to be enjoying herself, making sure that the coffee was just right - even though it looked like something else entirely. The smell was overwhelming, and it made my head spin. I wasn't sure if it was real coffee or something else entirely, but I didn't want to ask. As soon as I took a sip, I understood what had happened. It was indeed coffee, but with a twist - she had added a bit of caffeine powder to it. The result was an overwhelming sense of energy and alertness, which seemed to come from nowhere. I felt like I could run a mile without breaking a sweat. Suddenly, I felt invincible. That night, I slept like a baby, feeling refreshed and rested for the first time in weeks.
