But there was hope amidst the darkness - virtual reality (VR). It offered escapism from reality and allowed people to immerse themselves in another world where they could forget their troubles for just a moment. Through VR, humanity found new ways to connect with each other despite being physically isolated. And in that moment, humanity sparked in the dark.
