Description: Cinderella's stepmother is a strict woman who wants to keep her daughter humble and grounded. Cindy always wanted to attend the ball and see how she measures up against other young ladies, but her stepmother prevents it because she believes that Cindy's beauty will attract a worse suitor than herself. One evening, while Cindy is asleep, the stepmother sneaks out to go to a dance in another city, leaving Cindy behind in their humble home.
