Description: It was a beautiful day today. My husband and I decided to head over to our local grocery store for dinner ingredients. We were on the hunt for something fresh, like seafood or steak - anything that would make my man feel special. After hours of shopping, we finally settled on a lobster dinner at home. It was going to be extravagant! I brought in all the fixings. potatoes and corn, bread rolls, salad and more - everything to enhance our dining experience. We made our way back to the car and began the short drive home. The sky was painted with bright orange hues that reflected off the ocean's surface. It seemed like we were heading towards an adventure rather than just coming home. As soon as we arrived, we got right to work - boiling water for pasta and preparing lobster tail meat. We opened the fridge to find our vegetables storing themselves perfectly - I had left them out beforehand so they would ripen just right. My husband was busy grilling the steaks on the porch. the aroma of sizzling beef filled the air. It was a perfect day - we were spending time together, enjoying life and each other's company. The lobster dinner was a huge success too - it tasted better than anything I had ever eaten before! We finished our meal with dessert - a slice of chocolate cake that he bought for me at the store earlier in the day. He even lit some candles for my birthday, which was two weeks late but still made me feel special and loved all the same. It was the perfect end to an already perfect day.
