Description: On a sunny day in Thailand's second largest city, Pattaya Beach Road, a group of street vendors were busy peddling their wares. A small boy was hawking coconut milk and a woman, dressed in traditional Thai attire, was selling grilled fish. It was a typical scene in this tourist town as hundreds of people walked along the narrow street enjoying the sights and sounds of the local culture. Among the throngs of people were four Americans, two couples from California and Texas, who had come to this place to enjoy a tropical vacation. They were all quite young; however, one thing stood out about them - their enormous bellies. Their beer guts hung like balloons on either side of their skinny waists and the skin around their nipples stretched tight against their heavy chest plates. They looked like whales stranded on the beach. The only reason why they were still walking around instead of rolling themselves down the street was that they had money to pay for a hotel room where they could hide from prying eyes.
